So of course with this whole motherhood thing I am super busy and have had like no time to blog. But I must say that Mia is amazing, she has changed my life and I couldn't be happier. She is a great baby and we love her so much. Currently we are just hanging at home, fielding visitors and just trying to get the hang of feeding, latching etc. On an exciting note, all of my baby weight is gone and I am rocking my regular jeans once again! So that is a welcomed change. Its nice to hug the hubby without having a bump in the way.
Wishing you all a very Happy Turkey Day, I am so blessed and super thankful for my new little family this year, life is good.

She is LOVE, and she is all I need...
It’s official, I am a mom!!! My baby girl has arrived! Mia Cassidy was born on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 6:51am, she was 7lbs, 4oz and 19 ½ inches long. Words cannot express the love I feel in my heart for my sweet baby girl. She is amazing and I never imagined I could feel this way. Labor was 23 hours before had an emergency C-Section, and it was all forgotten the minute I saw my precious baby. I cannot wait to take her home today and settle in. Lucky will finally get to meet his baby sister. Guy and I are so thrilled with our new little family, and I feel so blessed.

Who could be the boss? Look up to the cross, Stranded in the land of the lost…
40 weeks and 2 days pregnant with no labor is sight. Surprisingly I am totally feeling cool, calm and collected. Not at all crazy or anxious, Guy that another story. I went to the Dr. today and I am 2 cm. dilated, the baby is fine and so we wait. We have an ultrasound on Monday and if she is not here by next week, I will be induced mid-end of next week. Everyone else seems to be freaking out but I am just going with the flow. The baby is content and she'll come when its time. But I am seriously in hermit mode I just don't want to deal with anyone. All the questions and comments, arrgggg I am fine, people don't need to tell me to "hang in there" because I feel great and I am not that impatient. All good things come to those who wait. That’s the thing, what I am most bothered by is everyone else with all the suggestions - I drank red raspberry leaf tea, I went on long walks, sex, spicy food, etc. It’s all been tried and no I refuse to try castor oil. Guy is fielding emails, calls and texts all day from all the impatient people. Which is truly the worst part so far, so yes I am venting my frustrations via blog - physically I am feeling good and happy, excited to meet my daughter and I know it’s only a matter of days.

I don't have a title, my brain is mush.
40 weeks today and Baby Girl is due. Not sure she is going to be making an appearance any time soon - but who knows!? So people have been calling, emailing and texting.....for god sakes yes we know the baby is due, but NO she is not here. Seriously it’s kind of annoying to have people checking on you 24/7 - even if they just call to chat - you know secretly they are just seeing if you are home or in labor. And I really want the baby here more than anyone else, so I'm just at the point of super anxiousness and it could still be a week until she is here - they induce at 41 weeks. So now I am just trying to keep busy and entertained waiting for the big moment. Not much else is going on. Although we have been having fabulous weather - so we've been taking lots of walks trying to getting things moving.

Snow White is doing dishes again....
No baby yet - 4 days until my due date and as of yesterday at the Dr. not much has changed since the previous week. I am totally convinced Baby Girl is too comfy and is planning on making a fashionably late entrance into the world.
My nesting is continuing, cleaned my cook top and toaster oven this morning - made another apple pie, ran the dishwasher and the washing machine at the same time which was a bad idea since there was a clog in the drain line. Which led to part of my lower level and the whole laundry room being flooded. Unfortunately this little drama did not put me into labor. So Guy and I spent the morning mopping up water and cleaning the mess. We then had to take all the sopping dirty towels to the laundromat, which is a rip off - $5.75 to wash 1 load!!!! We also went to the Home Depot and got a pipe snake and fixed the clog. (Thankfully!!!) So now I am just drying all the laundry, folding towels etc.
On a side note I was planning on taking my comforter to the laundromat at some point before the baby came and I was able to do that, so I guess my little mishap allowed me to be even more productive.
And all I wanted to do today was work out and have manicure/pedicure, let’s hope I can accomplish these 2 tasks this afternoon.

Get into the zone baby and do yourself a favor...
Ok so here we are its November 2nd and I am still pregnant, not in labor etc. The predicting man in line at McCauley Mtn in September was wrong, this baby did not come on November 1st. Good thing I didn't put all my eggs in that basket! Although I would have been thrilled to have her here!! 39 weeks tomorrow, 8 days from my due date, I am ready to go into labor and have my princess here! Guy is super ready too, he tells my belly/the baby everyday that she can come now. And the thought that I could go a week past my due date seriously freaks me out - that would mean 2 weeks from now - I will go crazy if I have to wait that long!!!!!!
My new theory is that maybe the full moon tonight will spark something and if the Yankees can win the Series tonight - we'll be all good and will have a new arrival this week! One can only hope!
